How do I prepare for my appointment? Please ensure that all consultation forms are filled in prior to the commencement of your appointment. These are sent to you when you recieve your reminder SMS 48 hours beforehand. Please do not consume any caffeine prior to your appointment (within 4 hours of) as this can cause significant twitching of your eyelids making the process difficult and potentially dangerous. Come to your appointment make-up free! Clean lashes are essential to long lasting lashes, dirts and oils can cause lowered retention. Arrive early! Preferably 5 or more minutes to guarantee parking, and allow yourself to wind down infront of our tropical aquarium. Please do not attend your appointments smelling of strong perfume or smoke, this can give our artists a headache and we always want to be on our A-Game for you! We do not allow children in our salon, this is a time for you to relax and enjoy being pampered. If you are unwell or sick please reschedule your appointment for the safety of our staff members and other patrons of the salon. All phones and smart watches are to be on silent so that all other clients within the salon can relax too. We recommend going to the toilet before your appointment, our toilet can be located to the end of the hallway and on the left. Please let us know if you have lashes on from a previous salon, we do not always refill the work of others and will need to make more time to allow a removal if needed. Wear comfortable clothes! The warmer the better so you can have a lash nap!

How do I look after my extensions to ensure their longevity? At Confidence Lashes and Beauty we recommend our lash cleanser, a foaming cleanser that is pumped directly onto your lashes. Using a soft bristle brush to cleanse the lashes it will help to remove any skin build up, oils and other dirt molecules that can affect your retention. We advise clients to wash their lashes as regularly as once every day depending on their lifestyle. We do not recommend using oil based or glycerin based products near your extensions as they can cause premature lash loss. Mascara is not to be used on lash extensions. The product causes the lashes to clump together, changing and/or ruining the look of your lashes. It is impossible to remove fully without removing the extensions themselves. Make up can be worn, we recommend that you use oil free and non-waterproof products. We do not recommend cleansing your lashes with Micellar Water, baby shampoo or any makeup removers that are balm/oil based. Please do not touch them constantly, pick, pull or rub at the extensions, this can cause premature lash loss.
